HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!
Just some updates for my past few days..
06/02/08 (Chinese New Year Eve)
Good news to us...
half day for my work..
So, I ended my work at 1pm.
Headed to Bugis with my cuzzie, Charlene to do some last minutes CNY shopping.
No item caught my eyes, thus I never get anything in the end.
Met my mum and sis at Bugis OG too, they were also doing some last minutes shopping there.
Why Bugis!?!?!?
Cos it's nearest shopping centre from my house.
It's just a 5 mins journey there.
Hahax..
Reached home around 3 plus 4pm.
Started our reunion dinner at ard 5 plus.
My mum finds it too expensive to eat outside (A table costs 800 bucks, plus the big family of mine, we need at least 2 tables which will cost $1600), so she decided that all of us should come my house to have our reunion dinner instead.
Bf can't join us cos he going he's aunt house to have reunion dinner.
But.. we got to meet up anyway. lolx.
Met him ard 9 plus in the night and we went to catch "Dunk" along with his brother.
Rating for "Dunk" = 3 and a half claps
It's not bad, quite hilarious and touching in the end.
Worth watching!
07/02/08 (Official Kick off Day of Chinese New Year)
Went to pay respect to my late grandfather early in the morning with my maternal side.
Home Sweet Home..
Nah.. All of them came my house to start the festive season..
And here it goes.. Hong bao!! hong bao!! hahax
Played blackjack..
*sob.. I lost 8 Bucks..
Bf came my house after he gone visiting his relatives..
Not long after he came, my dad decided to set off to the paternal side.
So off we go, of course bf included..
Leaving the rest of my relatives at my house.. lol
Good for him..
collected a whole stack of hong bao from my relatives..
Can't blame..
My family Tree is like super HUGE!!!!
Just alone for my maternal side, I've got 1 aunt and 6 uncles.
(Of course not adding in all my extended relatives whom came my house too yet!!)
As for my paternal side, I've got like 11 uncles and 1 aunt
(They all came from the the father and mother k!!)
How strong is my granny.. can actually give birth to 13 kids!!!
I think bf got quite confuse with my relationship with the ppl from my paternal side also.
I think he might think some of them are my aunts and uncles
which in fact they are my cuzzie...
wahahahax..
and those appears to be my cuzzie.. are actually my nephews and nice..
Okay.. Let's see..
My oldest cuzzie is actually 2 to 3 years younger than my dad only!!!!
Which is like 41 or 42 years old..
My Youngest Cuzzie is in Pri Sch I think.. Primary 5 I think..
My sis belongs to be the youngest of all...
My eldest Nephew is already in Secondary School, Upper Sec I think..
Imagine a 16 years old kid need to call a 10 year kid (my sis).. aunt..
lolx..
Of course we dun really care abt how we greet each others..
So most of my nephew and nieces call mi Jie Jie instead of aunt..
I'm not that old to be called as a aunty yet okay!!!
After dropping by my paternal side, I went off with bf to his granny's house.
Played Blackjack again!!!
This time round, I won more than 10 bucks..
hahax..
can recoup some losses I've made in the afternoon.
Headed back to my paternal side to pick up my parents..
One last stop: My Second Uncle'c place (Paternal)..
Bf almost knocked off there.. hahax..
And that's how my day ended..
Oh ya.. My dad won like 2k plus just by playing blackjack alone.. isn't it insane!!! All my uncles and elder cuzzie played from$2 - $10 - $20 - $50 - $100 - $150
Crazy!!
Play like money is not a issue to them at all!!
08/02/08 (2nd Day of CNY)
Got awake by my gramp.. asking me to drive her to pay respect to my grandfater again..
So, I pulled myself off the bed..
My mum and sis went along too..
Came home ard 12 plus,
refreshed myself and headed to my extended relatives' house..
Hahax
More Hong Baosss Again!!!
After which is VIWAWA time!!!
Helped my sis to create a account too!!!
