Michelle is Back!!!

Warning:
It will be a wordy post.
Pictures shall be posted once I've uploaded all of them.

24/08/08 (Sunday)

The boy stayed over at my house the previous night so we can go the airport together.

Woke up around 5am and started to get ourselves ready for the trip. We cabbed to the airport since my dad couldn't get him awake from his sleep. We had light breakfast and began to shop for somethings. I bought a "Lancome" liquid foundation and it's freaking cheap compared to the market price.

Flight departs @ 8.30am.

After a 3 hours and 15 mins journey,

we finally reached
HONG KONG!!!!

We checked in to the hotel, rested for an hour and off we go!

First, we headed to the Victoria Peak. When we reached the peak station, it was totally packed with people. Queues are long, we waited for about 30 mins before we can get onto the tram.
Up, Up, Up!
10 mins later, we were at the peak. Had lunch cum dinner at "L16" resturant which serve a mixture of thai and canton food. The ambience is good, of course, the cost of its course is also abit pricey. Butbut, who cares! We are there to enjoy not to save!
Next, we visited Madame Tussauds.

This is where all the famous celebrities wax figures stay.

Boyf took a lot of pictures there while I skipped most of it since I already took with them before from my past trip.
Night falls, we went to the sky gallery and sky terrace to enjoy the scenery. Their lightings are so much better than Singapore's.

Took the tram down @ 8.30pm.

MTR-ed (Their MRT) to MongKok and stolling on their well-litted streets while doing some window shopping.

You don't have to fear there's nothing to do in the night cos most of their shops closed at 11pm-12am. Didn't get anything but we got our eyes targeted at some.

Then, we walked all the way from Mongkok to Yau Ma Tei (where our hotel located). Damn Tiring! That pretty much sums up the first day.

25/08/08 (Monday)

Had our breakfast at one of their "Zha Can Ting" (how can we miss it)!

Love their "Po Luo You".

Trained and bused to Ocean Park.

There's where we forgot to take photo and begin our rides!!!

Fun, Fun, Fun!!

But hate the queue!!

Super Sunny!!

Drank Lotsa water due to the high intense heat.

Headed back to the hotel to freshen up ourselves before our shopping trip begin. First, we went to the avenue of star to look at those celebrity handprint on the ground. Next, we chilled at Starbuck cafe with Frappuccino and souffle cheese cake while waiting for the "Symphony of Light" to start.
"Symphony of Light", damn cool I must say.

The lightings and the music just match up nicely.

After it, we cabbed to Granville Road to spot for our victory goods.
Not bad afterall, my love and me got some of things ourselves and also eyed on somemore items. This time round, we took a train back instead.

p/s: I'm in charge of $$ while th boy in charge of Otopus Card. haha
26/08/08 (Tuesday)

Hong Kong Disneyland

I'm glad that I went there again cos there's some changes and new activities.

Enjoy the show alot alot! Very Disney-like I say.
Fireworks in front of the castle is also magnificent.

Nice day spent. But I got "SUNBURN"!!

Argh!! both my arms are super red and have burning effect.
We left Disneyland at 9.30pm and we went straight to MongKok after the driver drop us at our hotel. Again, boy got his victory goods which he had eyed on the day before. As for me, I shall leave the spree to the last day.

27/08/08 (Wednesday)

Last day in HongKong.

Slept till 10 plus in the morning and start preparing for check out.

After checking out, we went back to a resturant to have "Dim Sum".

Next,

We headed to Granville Road again to shop somemore.

Very Very fruitful trips for us indeed!
Since we still have time left, we went to "Shiu Liu Shan" to have a Mango Feast.

We ate alot alot.

Mango platter, Mango icecream with sago and mango juice, Fried dumplings, mango mochi, fried raddish cake, mango with gluttinous rice.

The attendents was shocked that we kept ordering and ordering too.

We even take away a cup of mango sago to our hotel.

Their mangos are superb!! You will never get sick of it. Trust me.

We had mango sago juice for 4 straight days!!

Reached the airpot around 6pm.

Flight departs at 8pm.

By 11.30pm, we touched down in Singapore's Aiport.

We bought hard liqour and beer and received a warm welcome from my mum and my sister. haha.

They were waiting for us in the airport.
Lastly, we cabbed home.
~That's the end of my Hong Kong Trip ~
